1000 series started revenue service
The new type of commuter electric train "1000 series", which was built in 2006, started revenue service on October 5, 2007 on Nishi-Osaka Line.
By extension of Nishi-Osaka Line, it is designed to make through operation between Hanshin Namba Line which plans to open in spring, 2009 and Kinki Nippon Railway.
