The new type of commuter train "321 series" has been put into revenue service since the fall of 2005 in the Keihanshin District, through the Tokaido and Sanyo Line (JR Kyoto Line and JR Kobe Line). A feature of the vehicle is that 3 monitor devices are installed in the ceiling instead of some suspended paper advertisements inside the vehicle to provide passengers with a variety of both written and visual information.
