The design of URBAN LINER NEXT was made with special emphasis being placed on "how to make passengers feel comfortable."
All the passenger seats are nonsmoking to meet general demand, but smoking spaces are provided at certain area with a relaxing atmosphere. The body structure of the cars, with its thin side surfaces and large side windows, creates a sense of space. The front image of the train preserves the image of its predecessor, Urban Liner, but has more futuristic shape.
