The new type of express train "1000 series" was developed for through operation with the Kintetsu Nara Line along with the opening of the Nishi Osaka Line expansion. Color combination on cab end makes strong feeling. Stainless-steel side exterior matches with the white and orange colors, with the beautiful laser welded stainless-steel finish which has minimal impression marks. The inside of the vehicle is barrier free; all vehicles are equipped with space for wheelchairs, and the door opening warning lights are provided above the doorway.
